For Darkwave, my research delved into the European techno underground, drawing from Berlin’s industrial club scene and the raw, hypnotic energy of artists like Will Sparks, Anyma, Sandra Landry, and I Hate Models. I explored the fusion of industrial techno and darkwave aesthetics, where high-BPM soundscapes meet haunting, cinematic atmospheres. Visually, I studied cybersigilism, a digital-mystic art style blending cyberpunk, occult symbology, and glitch aesthetics, inspired by artists like Strange Creatures and Luciferium War Graphics. This research informed a vision where sound and visuals merge into a dark, futuristic rave experience.
